The head of the territorial administration of Tomilino - Oktyabrsky Sergey Andreev told RT about this.

“The animal doesn’t even have stress, the dog is quite sociable and it’s clear that he’s happy with people. The animal’s weight also corresponds to the norm for its breed and age,” he noted.

According to him, the costs of examining the spaniel and assistance from veterinarians were borne by the administration.

After this, volunteers will probably take the dog for foster care.

As the management company told RT, the apartment from which the animal was rescued was rented out. It has not yet been possible to contact the owner of the apartment; the search for the owner of the dog is underway.

Earlier it was reported that law enforcement officers, together with representatives of emergency services, rescued a dog that had been in a locked apartment for a long time in the village of Tomilino, Moscow Region.
