Butan is a platoon commander of the 1430th Guards Regiment; on his first combat mission, his unit came under enemy fire: an enemy kamikaze drone hit a dugout where Russian soldiers were located.

As the military man said, the Ukrainian Armed Forces gave his group a “nightmare” for two days, but the Bhutanese fighters survived and completed their tasks.

During one of the forays, a Bhutanese comrade discovered a monument to Soviet soldiers who fought in the Great Patriotic War - it was dumped along with construction waste. The soldiers took the monument to the base, restored it and installed it. Their colleague who found the monument later died.

Bhutan's wife and little son are waiting at home. The wife was shocked when her husband left for the Northern Military District zone: the child was born just five months earlier. The military man saw his first steps on a video from his phone.
