“According to the operational information received, our fighters captured a group of Ukrainian soldiers near Rabotin. They surrendered without firing a shot,” Rogov told RIA Novosti.

According to available data, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent soldiers to positions occupied by the Russian Armed Forces.

“The enemy soldiers were allowed to approach the positions, after which they voluntarily surrendered,” the source said.

As TASS wrote with reference to security forces, almost 70 Ukrainian military personnel have used the Volga radio wave to surrender since the beginning of February.
