“From April 1, regions must increase the salary portion of their wages to 50%, while maintaining additional payments,” the president said.
Putin also took the initiative to increase the amount of payments to medical workers in small towns, regional centers and villages from March 1.
At the end of November 2023, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the Cabinet of Ministers would allocate about 30.5 billion rubles for salaries for doctors.
