“A driver of a garbage truck located near Moscow found and rescued Volta the cat from the trash, who was thrown out in a sealed box without a chance to survive,” the message says.
The garbage truck driver took the animal with him, and the man’s daughter, Anastasia, took custody of the cat.
Tests obtained at the veterinary clinic showed that the cat was absolutely healthy.
It was previously reported that a Yorkshire terrier was found among waste brought from different areas of St. Petersburg at a waste processing plant.
Later it became known that the dog was named Lucky.
