The British judiciary - Tuesday - convicted 3 women of committing terrorist crimes, after they pasted pictures of paratroopers on their backs during a pro-Palestinian march in London to protest the Israeli war on Gaza that broke out after the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on October 7th.

Heba Al-Hayek (29 years old) and Pauline Ankunda (26 years old) pasted pictures of paratroopers, similar to what fighters from the Palestinian Hamas movement did during the Al-Aqsa Flood operation that they launched against the Israeli occupation on the seventh of last October.

Noimoto Olayinka Taiwo (27 years old) was also convicted of the same charge, which is committing terrorist crimes, after she pasted a similar picture on the handle of one of the banners.

The march was organized on October 14, 7 days after the unprecedented attack launched by the Palestinian resistance, which left about 1,160 people dead, according to a tally prepared by Agence France-Presse based on official Israeli figures.

For his part, Tan Ikram, deputy chief district judge at Westminster Magistrates Court in London, said on Tuesday: “No reasonable person would interpret the image as a mere symbol of freedom,” but added, “There is no evidence that any of these accused are supporters of Hamas, or that they seek to To show support for her.

Ikram considered that the accused women had “crossed the limits,” as he said, and added that he would not punish them and would grant them conditional release for a period of 12 months.

For his part, Nick Price, head of the Special Crimes and Counter-Terrorism Section of the British Crown Prosecution Service, said that the three women “deliberately displayed the images,” adding that “the fact that these images were displayed in the context of a protest against the Israeli response to Hamas attacks, indicates the glorification of the actions.” carried out by the movement.

It is worth noting that the aggression launched by the Israeli occupation against the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October resulted in the martyrdom of at least 28,473 people, most of them women and children, according to the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.
