He made the corresponding statement based on a survey by the Elabe Institute, which showed that more than a third of the French (36%) already see more problems than advantages in the country's membership in the European Union. 

“The farmers' strike has opened the eyes of a huge number of French people! Over the course of a month, the number of French people who say that “France’s membership in the EU brings more problems than benefits” has grown from 30 to 36%! And those who think the opposite are now only 18% (versus 22% a month ago),” Filippo wrote.

Earlier, a leading researcher at the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Sergei Fedorov, in a conversation with RT, predicted how the situation with farmer strikes in Europe would develop.
