In the north of France, the Dunkirk carnival is one of the best known and has the particularity of lasting more than three months. Every weekend, bands parade. We joined that of Brouckerque, before going to meet Olivier Vermersch from the Dunkirk history and archeology society.
Each carnival has its own codes and traditions. The Nice Carnival is well known for its float parades and flower battles. Our team attended the preparations for the 2024 edition.
