The government is considering whether it is possible to ease travel restrictions in order to encourage the entry of Japanese companies involved in Ukraine's reconstruction support.



There are plans to ease the restrictions on an exceptional basis, such as allowing only those involved in companies to stay for a certain period of time, but we will make decisions carefully taking into consideration the local situation.

The government will hold a ``Japan-Ukraine Economic Reconstruction Promotion Conference'' in Tokyo on the 19th of next week, and plans to encourage Japanese companies to expand into Ukraine in order to promote reconstruction assistance through public and private sectors.



On the other hand, some members of the business community have complained that the government's decision to issue an ``evacuation advisory'' to all of Ukraine and restrict travel from Japan is ``creating a barrier to business activities.'' The government is considering whether it is possible to ease travel restrictions.



As attacks by Russia continue, many within the government are against lowering the level of danger information, such as keeping the "evacuation advisory" in place and limiting it to corporate personnel involved in reconstruction support. There are plans for exceptional relief.



Specifically, consideration is being given to allowing foreigners to stay for a certain period of time after receiving an application from a company and conducting a review to ensure safety.
