With a Taiwanese accent, he is proficient in the local dialects of Shandong. "Don't say 'Yumo', it means Jinan dialect is fast." Lin Xingyue said with a smile.

　　This year is Lin Xingyue’s 26th year of “landing” and the 16th Spring Festival he has spent in mainland China. "The Spring Festival customs on both sides of the Taiwan Strait are similar. During the New Year, we will integrate the Spring Festival customs of Taiwan and mainland China to continue the traditional Chinese culture." Lin Xingyue said.

　　Lin Xingyue is the vice president of the Jinan Taiwan Compatriots Investment Enterprises Association and the chairman of Taiwan Strait News. In 2010, he got married to a Jinan girl, and he therefore called himself "Jinan son-in-law." "Jinan's mother-in-law loves her son-in-law very much, and I regard Jinan as my home. Many Taiwanese friends come to Jinan to travel, and I serve as their tour guide."

　　"My ancestral home is in Anhui Province. My father told me when I was young that I should return to my roots and return to the mainland when I grow up." Lin Xingyue told reporters that he grew up in a military village in Taipei City, Taiwan, and is also a "child of Huangpu." In 1998, with his father's encouragement, he chose to invest and build a factory in mainland China.

　　"When I came to the mainland for inspection, I was deeply attracted by the righteous and down-to-earth character of Shandong people. My father named me 'Yue' because he wanted me to be as tall as a mountain, and 'Yue' is the same as 'Yue'. "Both sides of the Taiwan Strait have the same roots and the same history and culture. I suggest that the Forbidden City on both sides of the Taiwan Strait can jointly organize exhibitions in the future to promote cross-Strait cultural exchanges."

　　In addition, Lin Xingyue founded the "Strait News" and "Jijiangwan Travel" magazines to promote cross-strait information exchange by introducing news and beautiful scenery from various parts of the mainland and Taiwan. "I continue to start my own business and have started many companies related to cross-strait cultural exchanges. In May this year, I plan to promote the holding of Taiwan Food Festival in 16 cities in Shandong to promote cross-strait people-to-people exchanges through food."

　　Lin Xingyue had witnessed the glory of Taiwan's economy with his own eyes, and also witnessed the rise of the mainland's economy after coming to the mainland. He said that in recent years, Jinan has accelerated the construction of the Cross-Strait Industrial Cooperation Zone for the conversion of old and new driving forces, and he also plans to invest in the cooperation zone to contribute to cross-Strait economic and trade development.

　　"Youth have unlimited vitality. I encourage young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to start their own businesses and provide them with support." Lin Xingyue believes that exchanges between young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait cannot be ignored, and Taiwanese youth should be attracted to the mainland from three aspects: visiting, studying, and employment. In his view, cross-strait exchanges are not one-way, but two-way. He hopes that young people from mainland China can go to Taiwan to experience "four seasons like spring", and he also hopes that young people from Taiwan can come to Jinan to appreciate "four distinct seasons".
