- In the early hours of Monday morning, large forces from the Israeli occupation army stormed the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, and shot a young man, coinciding with an arrest campaign accompanied by raids and searches.

The Jerusalem Governorate, the highest Palestinian representation in the city, said on its Facebook page that the occupation forces shot a young man and arrested a number of the town’s residents after storming their homes and harassing them.

She added that the campaign began at dawn, was accompanied by the closure of all entrances to the town, and is still continuing (until ten o'clock local time).

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses told Al Jazeera Net that confrontations broke out in various locations in the town, during which young men threw stones at the Israeli forces, who responded with live bullets and gas bombs.

For its part, the Wadi Hilweh Human Rights Information Center in Jerusalem said that a trial session will be held in absentia for the boy Muhammad Tariq Abu Sneina, a resident of the town of Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem, who is in the hospital after being shot yesterday, Sunday.

The center added in a brief statement that "there is no information yet about his health condition."

Abu Sneina was injured on Sunday evening after he was shot on Al-Wad Street in Old Jerusalem, allegedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.
