The court gave 3.5 years in prison to those who tried to scalp a man in Elektrostal

The press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region reports this.

“By the verdict of the city court, each of the men was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months of imprisonment to be served in a general regime correctional colony,” the statement says.

In July 2023, a criminal case was opened in Elektrostal for hooliganism and bodily harm after two men attacked a young man because of his green hair color.

According to the department, on Sunday, July 9, a conflict began between two men and a young man over the latter’s hair color. 

The victim identified both attackers from photographs. On July 11, official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk reported on the arrest in Obninsk of a second suspect in the case of an attack on a 19-year-old resident of Elektrostal.
