RT's interlocutor noted that in front of the entire world community, more than 2,000 museum exhibits worth more than a million dollars were stolen from Crimeans in Amsterdam.

“For ten years, Crimeans have been suing and trying to prove to Europeans that stealing is not good, and that what belongs to others should be given to the owner. The Dutch courts, the Supreme Court of the Kingdom, on justified claims from Russia for the return of Scythian gold to their homeland, made a very dangerous decision, creating a precedent for the advantage of the political lobby over the law,” said Kovitidi.

She added that Crimean museums appealed to the European Court of Human Rights even after the illegal decision to transfer Scythian gold to Ukraine.

“We have the strength and patience to go through all the necessary judicial procedures. Everyone in the world must understand: Crimeans respect the law. And they demand the same respect for their rights. The only owner of Scythian gold is the multinational people of Crimea. Any other interpretation of the ownership of Scythian gold is political manipulation,” the senator concluded.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called the situation with the transfer of Scythian gold to Ukraine theft.
