According to the survey results, Russia took only seventh place in the ranking of threats that Germans see for their country. At the same time, a year earlier Russia was in first place.

It is noted that now respondents are more concerned about mass migration, radical Islamism, the increased number of cyber attacks, organized international crime, as well as environmental issues and growing inequality among the population.

“German citizens consider Russia only the seventh most important problem, and Italians consider it the 12th,” the document says.

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the leadership of the alliance does not see the threat of an attack from Russia on the countries of the bloc.

President Vladimir Putin emphasized that Moscow has no interest in a conflict with NATO.
