“On February 11, 2024 at 20:40 Moscow time, at the airport, while towing an aircraft to a parking area, the wingtip of the aircraft touched a self-propelled passenger ramp that had arrived to meet the flight. The event did not affect the operational activities of the airport, services to passengers and airlines. The passengers of this flight were served in accordance with current regulations and procedures,” they noted.
As the directorate added, a commission has been created at the airport to clarify the circumstances and establish the causes of the event.
Earlier it was reported that the plane with passengers was damaged after it hit a self-propelled ramp at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport.
