The national president of the
Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo,
assured this Monday that he does not compromise with the amnesty for the Catalan independentists nor with any type of pardon for those responsible for the
process:
"I do not accept, nor will I accept," he stressed.
At a rally that the Galician PP held in
Marín (Pontevedra)
in front of more than three hundred people, Núñez Feijóo stated: "I am not
Pedro Sánchez",
who has been "trying to sneak an illegal amnesty for us for five months."
"We have been fighting against it for five months and we are going to continue doing so as many times as necessary," stressed the leader of the PP, who has shown himself willing to fight against the amnesty in the Spanish and European courts.
The
Popular Party,
according to its national president, "does not accept ethics and moral lessons from anyone," he stated, and predicted that the other parties "will continue to raise their tone, their insidiousness and their infamies", something that will happen more " every day that passes."
Feijóo has maintained that "the lower the
PSOE"
in its electoral expectations, "all the multiparty allies" will become more insidious.
"They have gone so far as to say that I agree with the amnesty and the pardons because by saying all that, perhaps someone doubts our honesty, our honorability and everything we have done to defend the rule of law," he said.
The leader of the PP has called on Galicians so that "the more insults, the more insidiousness and the more desperation" they respond with "more votes, more mobilization and more victories."
