At 22:20 on February 10, rescuers received a message that at an altitude of 5,000 meters the group requested help to descend. According to preliminary information, tourists have frostbite on their extremities.

“The climbers were met and helped to descend to 3850 meters by the Gara-Bashi station, where they refused further assistance,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.

Earlier it was reported that Russian Emergency Situations Ministry employees evacuated the injured man from the mountains of Khakassia.

It is clarified that during the ascent, the 49-year-old tourist suffered a leg injury and was unable to move independently.
