With the continuation of the Israeli aggression against Gaza, which has entered its fifth month, attention has turned during the past two months to the Red Sea, specifically the Bab al-Mandab region, where the Houthi group in Yemen began targeting ships heading to Israel, as a form of response to this aggression.

Since January 12, the United States and Britain, with the help and support of other countries, began launching raids on sites belonging to the Houthi group, which in turn responded by stressing that it would not stop its attacks until the Israeli aggression on Gaza stopped.

Al Jazeera Net was present as usual. In parallel with its intense coverage of the aggression against Gaza and its developments and repercussions, it paid attention to following up and covering developments in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and its follow-ups varied between news, reports and analysis.

In the first episode of our new program, “Panorama Al Jazeera Net,” we review our coverage of these events and summarize their most prominent milestones over the past weeks.
