In Ukraine, drone attacks by the Russian military have occurred one after another in various areas, and seven people, including three children, were killed in a house fire in the eastern city of Kharkiv.

According to an announcement by the Ukrainian Air Force, 31 Russian drones attacked eastern and southern Ukraine from the 9th to the 10th.

The Ukrainian side reportedly intercepted 23 of these aircraft, but in Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine, an oil storage facility was damaged and fuel leaked, causing a fire.

According to the local governor, more than 10 houses were destroyed, seven people were killed, including three children, and three others were injured.

Additionally, in the southern state of Odesa, port facilities and surrounding buildings were damaged, and four people were reportedly injured, with damage occurring in various areas.

Under these circumstances, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on the 10th that Defense Minister Shoigu visited a company that manufactures unmanned aircraft in central Russia, and released a video of a large number of unmanned aircraft lined up.

This company has expanded its factory since the year Russia began its military invasion, increasing production by 60%, and is also developing a system that automatically identifies and attacks objects.

While Russia has shown a stance to strengthen the use of drones in its military invasion of Ukraine, the Ukrainian side has also created a new department in its military specializing in drones, and plans to expand its use in counterattacks against Russia. It is expected that the attack and defense by both sides using drones will become even more intense.
