Medical teams cannot move between the buildings of the complex due to occupation snipers who fire intensely, threatening the lives of 300 members of the medical staff, 450 patients and wounded, and 10,000 displaced people inside the Nasser Medical Complex, according to health sources.

The director of the Surgical Hospital at Nasser Medical Complex told Al Jazeera that the occupation forces are carrying out bulldozing operations at the northern gate of the complex, warning of the risk of hunger spreading among the displaced and medical staff inside the complex.

Al Jazeera's correspondent also reported that occupation tanks were stationed at the entrance to the Jordanian field hospital adjacent to the Nasser Medical Complex.

For its part, the Palestinian News Agency said that occupation artillery targeted the Taiba School, which was sheltering displaced people east of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, causing fires to catch on.

The occupation boats also fired shells towards Deir al-Balah beach in the middle of the Gaza Strip, killing a fisherman and wounding others.

Rafah continues to be targeted

In the city of Rafah, the last refuge for the displaced after the occupation ordered the residents of Gaza to take refuge there, the occupation aircraft continued to intensify the bombing of inhabited homes, resulting in the martyrdom of 25 Palestinians.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that the bombing targeted the center and north of Rafah since last night, and the occupation also raided a house in the Al-Nasr neighborhood north of the city, leading to the martyrdom of 11 Palestinians.

The bombing of Rafah coincides with the Israeli occupation army approving a military operation there, and Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper said that preparations for the operation in Rafah began weeks ago, and the army has already approved a plan that includes the necessity of evacuating the displaced.

For its part, the official Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said that the military operation in Rafah will begin after the completion of a "large-scale evacuation" of civilians from the city and its suburbs.

The ongoing aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip has resulted in the death of 27,947 Palestinians and the injury of 67,459 since October 7, amid the growing humanitarian crisis in the Strip with the scarcity of humanitarian aid and the difficulty of allowing its entry.
