Navigational data showed that the container ship "PAN GG", flying the Egyptian flag, made continuous trips to the Israeli port of Ashdod from the Egyptian ports of Port Said and Dekheila, coinciding with the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

Navigational data reviewed by the Sanad Monitoring and Verification Agency on Al Jazeera Network revealed that the ship made 25 trips to the Israeli port of Ashdod, all loaded with goods, during the period from mid-February of last year 2023 until February 8 of this year.

The ship's data shows a noticeable increase in the number of ship trips last October, as the number of trips reached 6, compared to an average of only two trips per month during the monitoring period.

On the last voyage, the ship departed from the Egyptian port of Port Said on February 8, and arrived at the port of Ashdod on the same day.

The data also shows that the ship has not made any trips outside Egypt since mid-February 2023 to non-Israeli ports, with the exception of a trip last August to the Turkish port of Mersin.

The ship is owned by the Egyptian Pan Marine Shipping Group, which was established in 1978. Its headquarters are located in Alexandria, and the company is active in the field of food shipping.

The transfer of food products to the port of Ashdod comes at a time when the Gaza Strip is facing a severe siege by the occupation, and amid repeated calls from Palestinian factions and international and UN organizations for Egypt to bring in more aid and allow larger numbers of patients and people in critical condition in Gaza to cross into Egyptian territory.

Since last October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip that has left tens of thousands of civilian victims, most of them children and women, in addition to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive infrastructure destruction, which led to Tel Aviv being brought before the International Court of Justice on charges of “genocide.” ".
