As the department's press service reported, two children, three and five years old, took refuge from the fire in one of the rooms. Rescuers found them, took them out of the burning house and handed them over to doctors. The report clarifies that the cause of the fire was children playing with a lighter.
“The fire on 12 square meters was extinguished by eight specialists and 3 units of equipment from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations,” the department added.
Earlier it was reported about a fire in the Krasnodar region, as a result of which a four-year-old child died. A criminal case was opened into the incident.
