Abdullahian met with Nasrallah in Beirut (French)

Today, Saturday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian discussed with Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, and Palestinian faction leaders - in separate meetings in Beirut - developments in the Israeli war on Gaza.

Abdullahian and Nasrallah reviewed the political and security developments in southern Lebanon and the rest of the fronts of the axis of resistance. They also discussed the near future of the situation in Lebanon and the region.

Meeting with Mikati

In his meeting with Mikati, Abdullahian said that the Palestinians are the ones who must make decisions related to Palestine and its future, stressing that they have political plans and initiatives for the post-war period.

Abdullahian stressed the need to find a political solution to end the Israeli war on Gaza, noting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to obstruct the political path by continuing the war.

For his part, Mikati stressed the need to reach an immediate ceasefire.

Meeting with resistance factions

Abdullahian also met with the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziad al-Nakhalah, and the leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Osama Hamdan, and they reviewed field developments in the Gaza Strip.

During his meeting with the leaders of the resistance factions, Abdullahian pointed out that one of the most important achievements of the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood is that the Palestinian issue became the main issue of the international community again, and the resistance was able to regain its global standing and its undeniable role.

Abdullahian confirmed - in a press conference immediately upon his arrival at Beirut airport - that the security of Lebanon is the security of Iran and the region.

Yesterday, Friday, Abdullahian arrived in Beirut on an official, indefinite visit, during which he will meet with Lebanese officials to discuss the latest developments in the region. He will then go to Syria to discuss the Israeli attacks on it, and then head to Qatar.

Hezbollah is launching attacks on Israeli military sites in support of the Gaza Strip, and groups in Syria and Iraq have struck American targets in response to the continued aggression against the besieged Strip.
