A young Palestinian man was killed by Israeli army gunfire in the West Bank, at a time when the occupation army's incursions into villages and towns in the West Bank continue.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of a Palestinian and the injury of others by bullets fired by the occupation forces during their storming of the town of Beita, south of Nablus.

The ministry said that the occupation forces fired a barrage of live bullets and tear gas during confrontations that broke out with young men in the area.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that the occupation forces arrested two Palestinians before they withdrew to the outskirts of the town of Beita.

Thus, the death toll in the West Bank since October 7 has risen to 388 martyrs and 4,440 injured, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that the occupation forces stormed the town of Bani Naim, east of Hebron, and also stormed the town of Kafr Qaddum, east of the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank, where they besieged several neighborhoods in the town and raided a number of homes there in search of those they described as wanted persons.

On Friday, the death toll from the war on the Gaza Strip, as a result of which Israel is being tried on charges of “genocide,” rose to 27,947 martyrs and 67,459 injured, according to the Palestinian authorities in the Strip.
