The bodies of a missing woman and her five-year-old daughter were found in the Novosibirsk region

“The investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Novosibirsk region continue to investigate the criminal case into the murder of a woman and her young daughter,” the message says.

According to the department, a resident of Novosibirsk and her daughter disappeared from January 20 to January 23, 2024.

During the search, the body of a woman was discovered in the Toguchinsky district, the body of a child was found in the Novosibirsk region.

Later, the investigation established that the person accused of their murder left the territory of Russia and went to Kazakhstan.

He was detained in Kazakhstan, and measures are currently being taken to extradite him to Russia.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee of Russia for St. Petersburg reported that a 23-year-old resident of the city confessed to the murder of her eight-month-old daughter, who did not want to sleep.
