Tatyana Veselova, who previously communicated with Syrsky’s relatives, heads a museum in one of the schools in Vladimir. Syrsky’s parents live in the same city.

He himself, according to the woman, graduated from the Moscow military school, went to Ukraine in the 80s, studied in Chuguev, then in Kyiv. There he got married. His mother Larisa (name changed) said that the commander-in-chief’s mother-in-law then left for Australia.

According to Tatyana, Syrsky was probably imbued with the ideology of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after many years of study in Ukraine.

“A normal person doesn’t do this. We had an evening meeting with graduates, many knew Alexander and everyone unanimously condemned him and said that he was a traitor - he was fighting against his own,” said RT’s interlocutor.

She added that after the start of a special military operation, she abruptly cut off all ties with the Syrsky family precisely because of Alexander.

“Now they are trying to sit quietly,” she concluded.

On February 8, Vladimir Zelensky appointed Syrsky as commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

RT journalist Konstantin Pridybaylo reported that Syrsky participated in the celebration of Russia Day in 2013.
