Journalist Tucker Carlson asked Putin during an interview why he shouldn't call Biden to resolve the conflict in Ukraine and discuss the threat of nuclear weapons.

Putin noted that he does not understand why he should call Biden and what to talk to him about.

“Are you going to supply such and such weapons to Ukraine? Oh, I’m afraid, I’m afraid, please don’t deliver.” What should we talk about? - said the head of state.

According to him, Russia and the United States have contacts through various departments. He said that Moscow is conveying to Washington: if the United States really wants to end hostilities, then it is necessary to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine and “then everything will be over within a few weeks” and “we can agree on some conditions.”

Previously, Putin said that Western leaders are using “horror stories” about Russia to get money from taxpayers.
