Putin called statements about China’s allegedly aggressive rhetoric “horror stories.”
The Russian leader added that Russia has become accustomed to coexistence with China for centuries.
“China’s foreign policy philosophy is non-aggressive, China’s foreign policy thought is always looking for a compromise, and we see this,” Putin concluded.
Earlier it became known that during a conversation between Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, the parties discussed, among other things, the situation in Ukraine, as well as Russia’s chairmanship in BRICS.
In turn, Xi Jinping said that Russia and China must work together to resist external interference.
