Filippo emphasized that the West has now developed an aggressive approach to information, which allows only one’s own theses.

“Western media claim a monopoly in covering this conflict and Russian politics in general. But they cannot help but know that they will lose, since Carlson has a huge audience,” he concluded.

Earlier, the Russian leader’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, expressed the opinion that the United States will very carefully study and analyze the interview that Putin gave to Carlson.

The Kremlin spokesman also said that Carlson did not agree on questions for the interview with Putin.
