This was stated by senior assistant to the head of the regional headquarters of the Russian Investigative Committee Olga Vradiy.

On January 19, the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region opened a criminal case based on information from social networks about the arson of the house of a participant in a special military operation in Istra.

According to the department, last year the director of the management company where the military man worked demanded that he pay money every month, allegedly to pay off a debt owed to him. At the same time, the director of the company exerted moral pressure on the family of the SVO participant. In January, a military man's house was deliberately set on fire. No one was injured as a result of the incident.

The police almost immediately detained the perpetrators of the arson, but the alleged mastermind managed to escape.

“Today, at Vnukovo airport, a suspect in organizing the arson of a house was detained while trying to escape,” RIA Novosti quotes Vradiy.

Earlier it became known that several foreigners beat up a SVO soldier in Chekhov, Moscow region; the fight took place in the Voyage cafe on January 14.
