The head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk Region, Colonel Valery Gorelykh, told URA.RU about this.
It is specified that he and his wife went to bed, but at night his wife woke up from a powerful bang and the destruction of the wall. The woman managed to leave the room, but her husband was crushed by the collapsed slab, as a result of which he received injuries incompatible with life.
As Gorelykh said, the woman was hospitalized with a closed ankle fracture and bruises.
According to reports, shortly before the incident, the pensioner was repairing a water tank.
Earlier it was reported that a teenager who received severe burns in a gas explosion in Derbent died in hospital.
