  • There are very positive parts in Hamas' response to the agreement proposal.

  • We are working around the clock and are optimistic about reaching an agreement.

  • We believe that any military operation under the current circumstances in Rafah would be a disaster for the civilians there.

  • We do not see any indications that Israel intends to carry out a large-scale operation in Rafah.

  • One million Palestinians are in Rafah and the Israeli army is responsible for protecting civilians there.
