On the 125th day of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the occupation army committed 15 massacres within one day, claiming 130 martyrs, bringing the number of martyrs since the seventh of last October to 27,840, and those injured to 67,317.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, in the last days of his fifth tour to the region, also discussed with Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid and Minister of the War Council Benny Gantz the prisoner exchange deal and a ceasefire in Gaza in two separate meetings, the day after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the demands of the Islamic Resistance Movement ( agitation).

The movement announced that a delegation from it arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, “to complete talks related to a ceasefire” in the Strip.

Israel assassinates a Hezbollah leader

Israeli Army Radio said that the army assassinated a regional commander in the Lebanese Hezbollah group responsible for firing rockets at the Kiryat Shmona settlement.

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that the Lebanese leader was Abbas Al-Debs, while other sources did not confirm the identity of the dead man.

An Al Jazeera correspondent reported that an Israeli drone targeted a car in the city of Nabatieh, southern Lebanon, resulting in three wounded, while the Lebanese News Agency reported that the Israeli drone fired a missile directed at the car, causing it to catch fire.

Meanwhile, the French Agency quoted a security source as confirming that a Hezbollah military official was seriously injured as a result of an Israeli strike that targeted his car in the city of Nabatieh, and another person who was with him was also injured.

New massacres and the death toll rises

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that at least 27,840 Palestinians were martyred and 67,317 were injured in the Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7.

The ministry added in a statement that about 130 Palestinians were martyred and 170 others were injured during the past 24 hours.

It stated in the statement that "the Israeli occupation committed 15 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, claiming 130 martyrs and 170 injuries."

The Ministry also stated that "there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and the occupation is preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them."

In the same context, the government media office in Gaza announced that the number of journalist martyrs since the start of the war on Gaza had risen to 124.

A delegation from Hamas in Cairo

The Hamas movement announced that a delegation from it arrived in the Egyptian capital “to complete talks related to a ceasefire” in the Gaza Strip.

She said in a statement, "On Thursday morning, a delegation headed by Khalil al-Hayya, deputy head of Hamas in Gaza, arrived in Cairo to complete talks related to the ceasefire."

On Wednesday, the movement responded to a proposed plan for a prisoner exchange and calm in the Gaza Strip, adding a detailed annex to it to implement its stages and stipulating that it be part of the plan.

The sources said that Hamas's response to the Paris Framework proposal - which was presented to it last week - included a plan of 3 stages, each lasting 45 days, during which military operations on both sides would be completely halted and prisoners and bodies would be exchanged.

The siege of Nasser Hospital continues

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that Israel is placing the lives of 300 medical staff, 450 wounded, and about 10,000 displaced people in a critical danger zone at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra said in a statement that the hospital is facing a severe shortage of anesthesia and intensive care drugs and surgical supplies.

Al-Qudra warned that the electrical generators would stop within less than 48 hours due to the fuel shortage, noting that electricity was cut off from parts of Nasser Hospital for several hours as a result of the fuel shortage.

The spokesman pointed out that the occupation is obstructing the movement of ambulances, and medical teams are risking their lives in order to save the wounded as a result of preventing ambulances from moving.

During the recent period, the occupation army gradually withdrew some of its forces, withdrawing the 36th Division, which includes the Golani Brigade and brigades of armor, artillery, infantry, and other forces.

The Fifth Brigade was also withdrawn from the Gaza Strip late last month, which operated in the northern region of the Gaza Strip on the beach axis, in addition to the withdrawal of the Fourth Reserve Brigade, known as Kiryati, from Khan Yunis after weeks of military operations in the north and east of the governorate.

The brigade also withdrew 55 reserve paratroopers who operated in the Khan Yunis area. After months of operations in the northern Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army withdrew Battalion 7107, which belongs to the Nahal Brigade.

Iraq threatens to end the coalition mission

Iraq denounced the United States' targeting of a commander in the Popular Mobilization Forces, describing it as "a clear aggression and violation of Iraqi sovereignty," and stressed that "this path pushes the Iraqi government to end the mission of the international coalition, which has become a factor of instability for the country."

The military spokesman for the Iraqi Armed Forces, Yahya Rasool, said that the American forces irresponsibly repeatedly commit everything that undermines the understandings and bilateral dialogue between the two countries.

He added that the American forces "do not care about the lives of civilians or international laws, and thus they threaten civil peace, violate Iraqi sovereignty, and underestimate and risk people's lives."
