“The operational headquarters of the Leningrad region has limited the holding of rallies and other protests until May 1, 2024. The reason for the restrictions was the threat of terrorist attacks and other provocations,” the statement said.

The Governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, instructed that during this period, if pressing issues arise among residents, meetings of vice-governors, deputy chairmen of the regional government and heads of relevant departments with activists should be promptly organized.
