This statement was made by the Russian Ambassador to Helsinki Pavel Kuznetsov.

“Noting the growing demand for military products in Ukraine and Europe, local manufacturers are counting profits and making ambitious plans for the future,” RIA Novosti quotes him.

Thus, according to the diplomat, at the end of last year the Finnish authorities announced their intention to invest over €20 million in doubling the production of ammunition.

Previously, Finland provided military assistance to Ukraine worth €1.6 billion.

It was also reported that Sweden allocated $26.4 million to Ukraine for energy efficiency projects.
