The press service of the Russian Federal Security Service for the region reports this.

According to the department, after arriving in Russia, the woman contacted an SBU employee by telephone and promised to provide her with data on the location of military units in the region, the routes of movement of military equipment and personnel of the Russian Armed Forces.

Later, she provided the SBU with information about the locations of air defense systems and the facts of the movement of military equipment.

The woman was found guilty of espionage charges.

“She was sentenced to ten years in prison in a general regime colony,” TASS reported.

Earlier in Bryansk, a man was sentenced to 13 years in prison in a treason case.
