“During the operational search activities, it was established that a 34-year-old resident of Volgograd used the Internet to publish statements supporting the actions of Ukraine and encouraging the use of violence against Russian citizens,” the statement says.

Upon the fact of the crime, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for extremist activities).

Previously, a resident of the Khabarovsk Territory was given eight years in prison for sending money to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Also in Bryansk, a man was sentenced to 13 years in prison in a treason case.
