Salah Abdeslam, sentenced to irreducible life imprisonment for his participation in the Paris attacks on November 13, 2015 (130 deaths), was taken from his cell in Belgium on Wednesday morning to be transferred to France, his lawyer announced to AFP. “They came to pick him up this morning from his cell at 9 a.m. and he left for France,” said Delphine Paci. “This is a blatant violation of the rule of law,” she added.
