RBC: airport repairs proposed to be financed by a new fee from airlines

According to the publication, a special fund should be created to implement this measure. It is expected that this will make it possible to attract 10 billion rubles per year for the reconstruction of airfields.

“Ultimately, the passenger will have to pay for the reconstruction. But in terms of one passenger, the ticket price may increase by no more than 50 rubles,” the message says.

It is also noted that the reconstruction of large airports is tentatively planned to be financed partly from the federal and regional budgets, as well as from private loans from investors.

Earlier in Kirov, the progress of repair work in the Pobedilovo airport building was inspected.

Also, the Ministry of Transport of Karelia announced the closure of Petrozavodsk airport for a month.
