Representative Rashida Tlaib announces her refusal to transfer American tax funds without conditions to Netanyahu’s extremist government (social media sites)

US Congresswoman, Representative Rashida Tlaib, of Palestinian origin, expressed her admiration for some of her colleagues in Congress, who whisper to her that they do not like Netanyahu, but at the same time they vote to approve of the financial support that Washington provides to Israel.

Rashida said during a congressional session, today, Wednesday, February 7, 2024: “We are doing it again. Sending 17 billion and 600 million dollars in American tax money without conditions to the extremist Netanyahu government means dropping more bombs on innocent Palestinians. The government has killed “So far, there are 27,000 people in Israel, including 11,500 children.”

If you don't support Netanyahu, if you are disgusted by the countless lifeless children being pulled out of the rubble, if you actually believe in upholding human rights and international law—vote no on a blank check to Netanyahu's genocide. pic.twitter.com/EIv6CV3CNJ

She added, "I'm tired of my colleagues. One of them comes to me whispering: I don't like Netanyahu, I support the two-state solution, so why do we send them billions of dollars without conditions when he tells us literally, over and over again, about his intention? Many of my colleagues still tell me: They are not satisfied with The aid they provide to a genocidal maniac.”

She continued, "My message to these colleagues is simple: If you do not support Netanyahu. If you are disgusted by the countless videos of children being pulled from under the rubble. If you truly believe in supporting human rights and international law, vote 'no' on Granting a blank check for the genocide committed by Netanyahu.

After the session, Rashida wrote a post on Facebook saying, “My colleagues continue to transfer billions of dollars in American taxes to (Department of) Defense contractors. The American people deserve representatives who vote for our country and our families, not for their stock portfolios. It is shameful that some of my colleagues profit financially when they vote to support wars.” and weapons manufacturing.

She added, “Members of Congress should not be able to use their positions of power to get rich from defense contractors while voting to pass more funding to bomb innocent civilians. We are tired of politicians who profit from endless wars. I am introducing the Prevent Politicians From Act.” "Leveraging the War to Prevent Members of Congress from Trading Defense Stocks."

It is noteworthy that US Senate candidate Nasser Baydoun revealed on November 27, 2023, that the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) was putting pressure on him, by enticing him with money in order to agree to compete with Rashida Tlaib for her seat in the state of Michigan in the elections. Expected.

I was offered $20 million to withdraw from the senatorial race and to run against my friend @rashidatlaib. Even knowing where I stand on AIPAC's influence on our elections and foreign policy, the pro-Israel lobby had the nerve to suggest that I would even consider taking a dime… pic.twitter.com/QTvFhbExj9

This was not the first time that AIPAC targeted candidates to oust Rashida Tlaib, as American politician Hill Harper revealed that he had received the same offer, as support in exchange for entering the House of Representatives elections against Rashida Tlaib.

I didn't intend for a private phone call to turn public. But now that it has, here's the truth.

One of AIPAC's biggest donors offered $20m if I dropped out of the US Senate race to run against @RashidaTlaib.

I said no. I won't be bossed, bullied, or bought. https://t.co/Ji76jwPE3X

Last November 22, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) published audio recordings of supporters of Israel discussing ways to kill Rashida Tlaib during her visit to Arizona.

According to a statement by “CAIR” on the “X” platform, activists supporting Israel discussed ways to “kill” Rashida, and the audio recordings published by CAIR showed a discussion of the possibilities of targeting her during her visit to Arizona. They also discussed “ways to sexually harass Rashida, harass her, and even kill her during her visit.” "Arizona."

On November 8, 2023, the US House of Representatives approved a draft resolution censuring Representative Rashida for condemning the policies of President Joe Biden and Israel regarding Gaza.

Last May 10, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy tried to prevent Rashida Tlaib from holding an event to remember the Palestinian Nakba in the presence of a large number of activists and influencers, but he failed and Rashida insisted on holding the event.

At that time, McCarthy confirmed on his Twitter account the cancellation of the scheduled event in the Capitol building, commenting, “Instead, I will host a bipartisan discussion to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the relationship between America and Israel.”
