“The volume of investment in the implementation of the project is more than 500 million rubles. At the first stage, the investor plans to create about 60 jobs at the enterprise. Currently, the enterprise has an area of more than 4.3 thousand square meters. m, the installation of sterile premises is being completed and preparations are underway for commissioning work,” said Ekaterina Zinovieva, deputy chairman of the regional government, Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.
All workshops for the production of surgical suture material will be equipped in clean rooms.
As Arthur Siliverstov, general director of Integral Medical, noted, after European manufacturers of sterile suture materials left the Russian market, the company set a goal to launch the production of its own materials.
“At the enterprise in the Moscow region we will be able to produce a whole line of surgical needles from domestic raw materials,” he said.
After reaching full capacity, the enterprise will be able to produce at least 10 million sterile threads and needles per year.
The project of the Integral Medical company in Podolsk will be launched with the assistance of the Moscow Region Development Corporation (KROD) in the third quarter of 2024.
