Medvedev noted that although the Russian side has repeatedly stated that there are no plans for a conflict with NATO and the European Union countries, “extremely dangerous chatter on this topic continues.”
According to him, Western politicians are in this way trying to divert the attention of voters in order to justify huge spending on “the disgusting Bandera “Ukraine.”
Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, noted that Moscow calls on Western countries, primarily EU member states, not to attribute to Russia the intention to start a war in Europe and not to impose this ideology on it.
