According to the Telegram channel Where We're Going, a 1990 Bentley Turbo R was detained for violating the rules of import into the territory of the EAEU. The car was brought to Russia from Massachusetts by a US citizen back in 2015.
In accordance with the rules of temporary import, the car had to be taken out of the country within a year, or go through another customs procedure.
As it was established, the owner left Russia; he left the Bentley for the use of a trusted person in Crimea. The amount of debt on customs duties and penalties amounted to 4.6 million rubles.
