She recalled that the explosion of gas pipelines occurred in the Swedish economic zone; in addition, the explosion affected the interests of Swedish business entities and caused environmental damage.
“In this case, the Swedish authorities, for reasons that defy any logical explanation except one, initially demonstrated the frivolity of their intention to complete the matter,” Zakharova emphasized.
She added that Russia intends to closely monitor the progress of the investigation into this case in Germany and Denmark.
Earlier it was reported that Sweden stopped the investigation into the case of sabotage on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea.
