The European official said this during a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.

According to Borrell, by the end of 2024 the EU intends to transfer more than 1 million shells to Ukraine. He clarified that the supply includes both free transfer and export on a commercial basis.

“And you are right, we must think about cooperation between European industry and Ukrainian industry in order to establish ammunition production in your country,” RIA Novosti quotes Borrell.

Earlier, the heads of countries and governments of the member states of the European Union at the summit in Brussels called for speeding up the supply of ammunition and missiles to Ukraine.
