According to the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the report of burning cars was received on the evening of January 28. The owner of one of the foreign cars subsequently filed a statement about arson.

Soon the police managed to trace the suspect. He turned out to be a 22-year-old resident of the Krasnodar region. He was detained in the city of Rossosh, Voronezh region.

“According to the detainee, he received the “order” to set the car on fire via the Internet, and he was promised 400 thousand rubles. The arsonist had to come to Tikhoretsk to get the money,” the press service reported.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee of Russia brought charges against those who set fire to tires near apartments in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.
