IAEA Top Inspects Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant

IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) Director-General Grossi posted on SNS on the 7th, announcing that he had inspected the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Russia-occupied southern Ukraine.



This is Director General Grossi's fourth visit to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant since June last year.



During this visit, he confirmed the external power supply needed to cool the reactor and the conditions of the staff working at the plant.



In his post, Director-General Grossi acknowledged that the situation surrounding nuclear power plants remains unstable, saying he was "not at all satisfied with the situation."



Director-General Grossi is scheduled to visit Russia next week and will consult with his stakeholders to ensure the safety of nuclear power plants.
