  Shaanxi is the core production area of ​​Qinchuan cattle, one of China's five major cattle breeds. Qinchuan cattle have become the preferred beef cattle breed for the production of high-end beef due to its delicious meat, high lean meat rate, obvious marble pattern and other advantages.

  In recent years, Xi'an Customs has played a huge role in supplying live cattle to Hong Kong and Macao in helping to stabilize and improve the quality of Shaanxi's foreign trade, and to help farmers increase their income and become rich. It has taken multiple measures to support Shaanxi's continued and stable supply of live cattle to the Hong Kong and Macao markets. Currently, there are 4 cities and 5 registered live cattle feedlots in Shaanxi supplying high-quality live cattle from Hong Kong and Macao.

  According to statistics, Shaanxi supplied 205 batches and 3,532 heads of live cattle to the Hong Kong and Macau markets in 2023, with a value of more than 100 million yuan.

  "We are a newly registered live cattle breeding farm for Hong Kong and Macao in 2023. After learning that the company wanted to start supplying business to Hong Kong and Macao, Xi'an Customs put forward many targeted guidance in terms of fattening base construction, system formulation, factory planning, feeding management, etc. , it only took 2 weeks from the time we applied to the approval."
