Four months to the day after the Hamas attack in Israel, France will pay tribute on Wednesday February 7 to the French victims of this attack during a ceremony. According to a CSA survey for CNews, Europe 1 and "Le Journal du Dimanche", 75% of French people believe that LFI elected officials have no place there, while the latter refused to qualify Hamas as a terrorist organization.

In detail, 76% of the men questioned believe that LFI elected officials should not pay this tribute, just like 74% of women. Among those under 35, 59% of respondents are of this opinion, compared to 41% who think that rebellious France has its place at the ceremony. 

For those aged 65 and over, the answer is more clear-cut: 80% of them believe that LFI has no place in the tribute to the French victims of Hamas on February 7, while 19% think that it does. 

50% of left-wing respondents not in favor

As for the results of our survey according to the political sensitivity of the respondents, these diverge depending on the supporters. On the left, 50% of respondents do not want the presence of LFI elected officials. Within France Insoumise itself, 21% of respondents also think that the latter do not have their place at the ceremony.

At the center of the political spectrum, 80% of respondents are also not in favor of the presence of rebellious deputies. An even higher proportion when it comes to right-wing sympathizers since it concerns 86% of them, while 13% are in favor. It is on the side of the National Rally that this position is most pronounced: 89% of respondents do not want LFI elected officials during the tribute, compared to 10% of respondents in favor and 1% of abstentionists.
