As Krupnik explained, in recent years the country has faced a new question about the employment of disabled people and persons with disabilities.

“New production methods are being introduced into the domestic economy, new areas of activity and labor are emerging, and a huge number of new vacancies are emerging,” RT’s interlocutor emphasized.

For example, if the operator of a delivery robot had a disability or other physical limitation, this would not affect the result or quality of work in any way, the deputy explained.

“I ask you to consider the possibility of revising the current rules for the employment of disabled people and persons with disabilities in terms of simplifying procedures and stimulating employers themselves to hire them,” the text of the appeal says.

The deputy also said that it seems appropriate to carry out a reform of training programs “in terms of expanding the list of areas of training courses and optimizing their forms.”

Earlier, Krupnik proposed considering the possibility of including Russian pensioners in the Pushkin Card project or creating a similar program for them.
